Admission Process
We are delighted by your interest in St. Joseph Catholic School! Your consideration of St. Joseph Catholic School as your partner in your child(ren)'s education fills us with joy. Our dedicated staff is available every day from 7:30am-3:30pm to guide you through the application process and provide any assistance you may need.
As part of the Diocese of Orlando requirements, we kindly ask that you ensure all immunization records are up to date and submitted to our school office, as we hold the well-being of our students as a top priority. Please note that we are unable to accept religious exemptions, but medical exemptions can be submitted to Mrs. Brown, at our school’s office, for Diocesan approval.
As a close-knit community, we value the contributions of all our families and kindly request 20 volunteer hours throughout the school year to foster a strong sense of togetherness. In order to maintain a unified appearance, we ask that students in Pre K 3 and Kindergarten through grade 8 wear uniforms purchased from our school's new/used uniform store. When applying to SJCS, we kindly request that all families support and abide by our Parent/Student Handbook and Code of Conduct, ensuring a harmonious and nurturing environment for all.
Lastly, applicants for Pre K 3 and VPK should be 3 or 4 years old, respectively, by Sept. 1st, fully toilet trained, while Kindergarten applicants should be 5 years old by Sept. 1st; for registration of non-immigrant alien students, please contact Mrs. Brown in the school office.

Scholarship Information
We proudly accept various programs such as Step Up For Students, Family Empowerment for Educational Options, Family Empowerment for Students with Unique Abilities, and more. We want to ensure that families are aware that a parentally placed private school student with a disability does not have an individual right to receive all the special education and related services available under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), as amended, that would be provided if the student were enrolled in a public school.
We also participate in the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program or VPK. To explore the available options and discuss your unique situation, please reach out to us at (863) 293-3311. We are here to support you and help make an exceptional Catholic education a reality for your child.
