Preschool
Pre-K3 - Pre-K4/VPK
At St. Joseph Catholic School, our Preschool curriculum embraces the power of play-based learning, centered around engaging unit themes. Our intentionally-designed centers foster exploration, imagination, discovery, and collaboration, focusing on the five crucial early-learning development domains: language, social, physical, cognitive, and social-emotional. With certified faculty and a low student-teacher ratio, we provide tailored and differentiated instruction to meet the unique needs of each child.
Our program serves fully potty-trained children aged three years old by September 1st in our PK3 class, as well as learners who are four years old by September 1st in our PK4 program. We offer flexible scheduling options, including school day and full-day plans, along with complimentary early care coverage from 7-7:50am. St. Joseph Catholic School is proud to be a certified VPK preschool, ensuring a high standard of education for our little learners.

Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

Intermediate
3rd Grade - 5th Grade
In our Intermediate program, students continue to cultivate essential skills such as communication, self-help, and problem-solving through engaging project-based activities that emphasize collaboration with peers. With low student-to-teacher ratios, our educators can provide responsive and tailored instruction to meet the diverse needs of each student.
Third graders benefit from self-contained classrooms, while fourth and fifth graders experience multiple teaching styles as they transition between two grade-level instructors and rooms, fostering organizational skills, effective studying habits, and executive functioning abilities to prepare them for the challenges of middle school. Our comprehensive curriculum ensures that all students participate in religion, physical education, art, music, Spanish, guidance, and technology courses, promoting a well-rounded education.

6th Grade - 8th Grade
Middle school is a transformative period marked by significant physical, emotional, social, and intellectual changes. At St. Joseph Catholic School, we have designed a comprehensive framework that provides various levels of support and structure to nurture growth in all areas. Our 6th-8th graders experience rotating instructors and classrooms for their core subjects, ensuring a diverse learning environment.
Our rigorous curriculum offers two levels of mathematics courses: on-grade level and advanced, with the opportunity to graduate with Algebra 1. Leveraging a variety of technological tools, we accommodate diverse learning styles and facilitate seamless activities and assignment submission. Moreover, our comprehensive curriculum ensures that all students actively participate in religion, physical education, art, music, Spanish, guidance, and technology courses, fostering a well-rounded education.

Enrichment & Fine Arts
At St. Joseph Catholic School, we believe in providing a well-rounded education that nurtures the holistic development of our students. Our comprehensive approach addresses their intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and physical needs. To achieve this, SJCS students actively participate in a range of enrichment courses including Music, Art, Physical Education, Guidance, Media, and Spanish.
Moreover, we offer exciting extracurricular activities such as Drama Club, School Choir, National Junior Honor Society, as well as opportunities for Grade School and Middle School Athletics, ensuring a diverse and enriching experience for every student.

Terra Nova Testing
Grades 2nd - 8th Grade
At St. Joseph Catholic School, TerraNova tests are administered to students in grades 2nd to 8th during the spring. These tests, known as TN3, cover the subjects of Reading/Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. The TerraNova tests provide valuable data in the form of norm-referenced, criterion-referenced, and performance level information, offering insights into student proficiency.
