Since 2004, forty-five St. Joseph alumni have been valedictorians or salutatorians at local Polk County high schools. Success like this is not the exception. It’s the result of the spiritual and academic formation of St. Joseph students, who enjoy a rich foundation of Catholic faith through academic instruction as well as opportunities to put their faith into action. Our rigorous curriculum in all subject areas gives students a strong foundation to learn and to develop intellectually. Committed to Safety and a Secured Learning Environment
At SJCS, the safety of our children is of paramount importance. As a part of the Diocese of Orlando, we adhere to the guidelines set forth by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) regarding Safe Environment Training. In compliance with these guidelines, all members of our school community, including teachers, administrators, and staff, undergo comprehensive Safe Environment Training, along with mandatory Criminal Background/Fingerprint clearance, ensuring a secure environment for everyone involved.
In accordance with Florida Statutes Section 1006.061(1) and (2), we diligently fulfill our obligation to display notices that (1) emphasize the responsibility of all school employees and agents to promptly report any instances of actual or suspected child abuse, abandonment, or neglect, and (2) outline the established policies and procedures for reporting any misconduct involving instructional personnel, administrators, and other staff members.
